NiceDivot is a repair shop before it is anything else. A set that has been played hard for four or five seasons drifts: grips glaze over and get slick in Lowcountry humidity, lie angles wander a degree or two after enough contact with hardpan and root, ferrules crack, epoxy bonds fatigue, and shaft tips work loose until you can hear the head rattle at the top of the backswing. None of that shows up as a number on a scorecard. It shows up as inconsistency you end up blaming on your swing.
So the first thing that happens on the bench is measurement, not selling. Every club gets checked for loft, lie, length, swing weight, grip size and condition, and head integrity, and the readings get written down before anything is bent, pulled, or reglued. That record is what tells us whether a club needs fifteen minutes of work or whether it is genuinely finished. Plenty of clubs come in expecting a reshaft and leave with a regrip and a lie correction instead — that is a good outcome, not a lost sale.
Regripping, reshafting, loft and lie adjustment, swing-weight tuning, shaft pulls, ferrule and head repair, and full-bag audits all happen in-house in Park West rather than being shipped off to a regional facility. That is why same-week turnaround on most repair work is realistic, and why you get told what was measured instead of just handed a total.
Then analysis, then fitting
Once your clubs are actually in spec, the numbers you gather from them mean something. Putting Performance Analysis uses CAPTO sensor data to show what your stroke is really doing — face angle at impact, path, rise angle, tempo, and where the ball actually starts relative to where you aimed. Club fitting and putter fitting come last on purpose, because fitting a golfer to equipment that is out of spec just bakes the error into the build.
How a visit works
- 1. Tell us what's off. A message through the contact form with the club, the miss, and how long it has been happening is usually enough to know what to check.
- 2. Drop the clubs. The workshop is appointment-only in Park West, Mount Pleasant, so we set a window rather than having you wait behind a counter.
- 3. Measure and quote. You get the readings and the work it implies before anything is charged.
- 4. Build and document. Finished specs get logged, so next season's tune-up starts from a known baseline instead of a guess.
