NiceDivot is the golf club repair and fitting bench of JHIT LLC, working out of Park West in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and serving golfers across the greater Charleston area. No showroom, no sales floor, no queue — just a properly equipped bench and someone who cares whether your 7-iron is actually a 7-iron.
Why this exists
Most golfers have never had their clubs measured. They buy a set off the rack, play it for a decade, and quietly blame their swing for a ball flight that a half-degree of lie angle or a worn grip was causing all along. Big-box repair counters aren't built to catch that — they're built for volume.
NiceDivot was started to do the other thing: take a small number of sets at a time, document every spec, and hand back equipment that's consistent from wedge to driver. A gapped, matched set makes practice mean something, because the club stops being a variable.
In practice that means same-week regripping and reshafting, loft and lie work verified on a lie board, swing-weight matching, full-set blueprints, and putter and club fitting sessions with launch-monitor data behind the recommendation. Mail-in service is available for golfers outside the Lowcountry.
How we work
Measure first, sell second
Every job starts with numbers — loft, lie, length, swing weight, grip size. If the measurements say your current setup is fine, we tell you that and charge you nothing for a recommendation you didn't need.
One bench, one set of hands
Your clubs aren't passed down a line. The person who quotes the work is the person who pulls the grip, cures the epoxy, and checks the lie board.
Components at cost
Grips and shafts are billed at what we pay for them. You pay for labor and expertise, not a markup on a rubber sleeve.
Brand-agnostic fitting
We're not a showroom for one manufacturer. We fit across the vendors we carry and will happily tell you when your existing heads are worth keeping.
