Where we work

The Lowcountry, course by course.

The workshop sits in Mount Pleasant, just over the Ravenel Bridge from downtown Charleston, so most of the bags on the bench come from within a twenty-five minute drive. That matters more than it sounds: clubs built for Lowcountry golf live with soft, often wet Bermuda turf, salt air that punishes steel and grips, and enough coastal wind that gapping and spin control get scrutinised harder than they would inland. When we set lie angles or pick a grip compound, that is the environment we are building for.

Mount Pleasant & east

Home base. Players from Park West, Dunes West, Rivertowne, Snee Farm, Old Village, I'On, Carolina Park and Hamlin Plantation are typically five to fifteen minutes away. If you play Charleston National, Patriots Point or Dunes West regularly, drop-off before a round and pick-up after is usually the easiest rhythm — most single-club work is ready the same week.

Charleston, West Ashley & James Island

Downtown, Daniel Island, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, West Ashley, James Island and Johns Island all sit inside a comfortable drive. Golfers out of the Charleston Municipal, Shadowmoss, Charleston Springs, Stono Ferry and Daniel Island Club circles make up a steady share of the bench. For groups, one person can bring several bags in at once and we itemise the work per player.

Summerville, Kiawah & beyond

Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, North Charleston, Moncks Corner, Seabrook and Kiawah are a longer run, so those jobs are usually booked as a single visit — drop the full set, we scope it on the spot, and everything goes back in one trip. Outside the Lowcountry entirely, mail-in service covers the rest of the country with the same measurements and the same written build sheet.

How to book

Three ways to get clubs on the bench.

1. Local drop-off

Send a request through the site with the clubs and the work you have in mind. We reply with an assessment, a written estimate and the drop-off address along with a time window. Because this is an appointment-only workshop rather than a retail counter, the address is confirmed when the appointment is set — that way somebody is always there when you arrive and your clubs are never left sitting.

2. Course hand-off

If you already play a regular round in Mount Pleasant or Charleston, we can often meet you at the course to collect the clubs and return them the same way. This is the most common arrangement for players who do not want the bag out of rotation on a weekend. Tell us the course and the day when you send the request.

3. Mail-in from anywhere

Outside the area, ship the clubs in and we handle the rest. We confirm receipt, measure and photograph everything before touching it, send the estimate for approval, and return the clubs with the build sheet. Pack heads with the shafts supported and insure the box for what the set is worth — we will send packing guidance with your confirmation.

Typical turnaround is two to four business days for regripping, loft and lie, or a single reshaft, and roughly a week for a full-set blueprint or any job where a shaft, adaptor or grip has to be ordered. Rush work is possible when the parts are on the shelf — ask when you book. Payment is settled after the work is approved and complete; there is no deposit for standard repair jobs.
